Trip to Tybee Island (Part 1)

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while but I've been pretty busy trying to get the most out of my Summer! Have you all been well?

One thing I have done this Summer is gone on a trip to Tybee Island! Having never been before, it was quite an experience. Unlike most beach towns, Tybee is very quaint and there aren't many people seen walking along the streets. The residents are stylish and so are the products sold in the stores! I picked myself up a few of them when I was there.

The first thing I bought was a pair of sunglasses. Even though they're inexpensive, I never took the time to invest in a pair for myself. These immediately caught my eye as spunky with a little taste of the 50's! I knew from the moment I saw them that they were mine.

Another thing that I bought were these cute little flower clips. They came in pairs, and in all different sizes and colors. I bought a blue pair and a white pair because those are colors that I frequently wear. Using the clips, I created a cool looking bun out of my hair, how cool is it that the flower blooms out of my hair?

The last buy that I indulged in was of these two chokers with little cotton balls in the middle. Not something you would really see in a beach shop right? I thought the same thing when I found these! Obviously, being such a great find, I had to get them ASAP.

Though I didn't go all out in what I purchased on vacation, I was not disappointed at all. Everything in the shops was just precious and exquisite and I couldn't possibly buy it all, so my limit was fine and left me satisfied.

And of course! My beach fashion! (Excuse the messy hotel room, I was sharing it with 5 other girls.) I incorporated my new clips into my outfit, and they matched perfectly. Fun fact; a lot of the time I slathered sunscreen on my body and sat under an umbrella to protect my complexion. No worries though, I still got out and played in the water just as much!

On the last day we stopped by Savannah! I've been to Savannah before and I absolutely adore everything about it! The people are all so creative and unique, and so is the landscaping of the entire town. Being able to go onto River Street and walk around while looking out onto the river was very nice. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I'm not going to complain, there's always next time!

Overall I had so much fun and I really enjoyed myself. I haven't been on vacation or to a beach in almost a year so it was extremely refreshing. I'd love to go again sometime!

I know this isn't much, but don't worry there's a ton more posts coming. I have more pictures on my camera but I just have to edit them and re-size them so I'll put them up soon, hopefully tomorrow. I've been up to sooo much, heheheh. Thank you for reading!!
